12-year-old Stepan Stupin, a student of school № 166 of the capital, is suffering from leukemia and can not attend classes: it is not allowed contact with other children.

 

However, the boy develops the curriculum, sitting at a computer at home and controlling the robot, who goes to class instead. Robot – also called Stepan – equipped with a webcam and microphone. He turns his head and moves so as to Stepan is present in the classroom.

 

For feedback monitor is used, whereby a student can ask the teacher.

 

Stepan robot visits the lessons of history, geography, English and French. Russian language and mathematics to study the living prototype of the ordinary for children with disabilities as follows: Teachers involved with him at his home.

 

According Medportal.Ru, the robot is three thousand dollars, but Stepan got it for free as a participant in the test project.

 

The robot was developed by local company Rbot. It develops and implements innovative and high-tech solutions in the field of robotics and related fields. In the team employs 50 specialists – graduates and postgraduates of Bauman Moscow State University, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, MIPT, Moscow Power Engineering Institute and other leading technical universities.
