Robots acquainted with the people at the Science Festival 

 

Russian robots fully develop and build «R.BOT» presented at the scientific and popular show “Touch science” in the Palace of Children and Youth.

 

Three robot approaching the visitors know the name, starts a conversation. Robots all see, can talk, and move in any direction – each of them manned. In this case, management itself is very similar to a computer game: the operator is sitting at a conventional computer with a headset and microphone.

They function as marketing on wheels. Conducted research and found that the robot is four times more effective than giving a handout than a girl model looks, which usually go on exhibitions. In addition, it is used in health care. The doctor can remotely connect to and follow up with a robot for the patient. Can connect and relatives to visit with patients. These technologies are also used in education. Children with disabilities are connected to the robot, and use it can “move” between classes and attend a lesson about yourself. For children it is much more interesting and easier to use than a webcam or “Skype”.

 

Also at the show you can visit the planetarium. In addition to the stars, guests show short films.

In addition, the exhibition will feature dozens of other artifacts from Ulyanovsk, Dimitrovgrad, St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow region. The exhibition runs February 9-10, from 10 to 18 hours.
